Great experience here at End of Elm. Food was good, drinks were delicious, and service was fantastic. Definitely recommend the yuca bites and brussel sprouts and Cheetos. Both were great shareables. The big bully cocktail was not bad. The mango amore cocktail was the best. Recommend stopping by for a drink and maybe an appetizer to share.
Now for my standard COVID comments as of April 2023. No one is really wearing masks anymore. We felt pretty comfortable eating indoors. Interior felt clean so I can’t complain!
A nice place for brunch. Fun varied options on the menu and a nice selection of craft cocktails that were enjoyed by all. All the food was good and portions were the right size, not too big nor too small. Curious to try this spot for lunch and dinner to, the waitress warned us the calamari salad is now only a brunch item, so we'll have to go back for brunch too.
Didn't know what to expect and was presently surprised. Bring quarters for any parking directly outside. The first 2 spots are 30 minute parking spots. Even on a Saturday night until 8pm (Common Morristown). End of Elm offers a ton of Pick Food with many Signature Drinks Everything we ordered was excellent wotb great service. Place is different and a nice change of pace. I would go back.
this wasn't an enjoyable experience.
inexperienced server, VERY long wait times for cocktails (the bartenders preferred to socialize and imbibe rather than prepare drinks for us), overcooked calamari (that's the worst), tacos that taste like cilantro tacos 😂 Where's the meat? and zero accompaniment. inconsistency plated, some with onions some sans.
cold appy served on a hot plate
empty glasses left on the table
once we paid ZERO service - the water bottle wasn't filled, and that's when we really needed it . (tipped 25% too, so that was odd...oh yea, inexperienced server, riiiiight 😄)
it was nice that someone turned the lights down finally because they were bright. but the noise level is so high that you really can't enjoy yourself.
it was worth a shot
I went here for dinner tonight with my dad to celebrate a promotion and this far exceeded my expectations. I got the shrimp with grits entree and I already know I’m going to be back to have this again. I usually order a similar shrimp with grits entree at “the smith” in NYC, but somehow this was BETTER! Totally a hidden gem
The food quality is good, however the portion size is ridiculously small for the cost.
The shrimp and grits was probably the favorite dish.
Unlikely to repeat.
A friend of mine and I got together to get brunch. When I arrived I found parking nearby. I walked into a very cute restaurant. I found my friend and sat. Caroline was our server, and she was very nice. We started with the Irish coffee, and it was tasty but needed a little more whiskey, which Caroline gave. My friend didn't like hers so changed it to a different drink which she liked a lot. For our meals, I got the chicken and waffles and asked for no bacon. My friend got the veggie burger. When the food came out, it looked good. My friend said her veggie burger wasn't hot enough and not great. I thought the chicken and waffles were just ok. When I got to my last chicken piece, I noticed some bacon looking pieces and I got freaked out. They told me it wasn't bacon, but I did not want to take any risks especiallysince the originaldish is supposed to come with bacon. They gave me 1/2 off the dish, which I appreciated. All in all, our time was just ok.
Nice small plates and entrees. Chicken and Waffles stood out. Come on Tuesdays for the Motown Tacos pop up.
